OVERVIEW
James is a highly experienced Procurement Consultant with an excellent track record in tender processes (EU/UK), contract drafting and negotiations. He recently has been asked to serve again for a major government project on procuyrement process and management restructuring, and has been retained as a procurement consultant to several other government agencies.
James has a solid, proven track record in very competitive business change environments. He is dynamic, action oriented and structured, with hands-on and results-driven approach with an excellent ability to represent projects to a broad variety of stakeholders with strong negotiation and drafting skills at all levels.
James' special skill set is in all aspects of sourcing cycles, contract management, out-sourcing and e-commerce implementation. Strong focus on strategic thinking and capability with a view to turn long-term strategic approach into feasible action plans. OJEU processes, contract drafting, FOIA and DPA practitioner, specilaist in IT, FM and General Services areas, P2P, and e-sourcing.
James also successfully instructs in NLP techniques, combatting office stress, enhancing time management and negotiation skills.

PROFILE
James operates within public sector and multinational organisations; managing and advising on complex projects, restructuring, due diligence and integration, probity and compliance issues, as well as Freedom of Information and Data Protection matters. He improves administrative and operational procurement, increasing quality. He drafts and implements contract template suites for outsourcing and shared service arrangements, including TUPE transfers.
He designs and delivers intranet and extranet websites, electronic procurement solutions and eProcurement, e.g. tutor documentation for Oracle P2P. He drafts and negotiates bespoke global contracts and is experienced in customs & excise matters, shipping and logistics.
James is the architect of the strategic government Agency Agreement for the hire of contractors / interims which is now being used by many government agencies.
James trains and instructs clients in the use of NLP techniques for the corporate environment. He is a master NLP practitioner, trained under Dr Richard Bandler, the co-inventor of NeuroLinguisticProgramming and Paul McKenna. James studied clinical hypnotherapy with ICH, and is also a professional stress counsellor.
NLP and clinical hypnotherapy are increasingly recognised as useful methods and tools by corporate clients to improve the wellbeing of their employees, enhance individual performance through better concentration, reduce stress levels, optimise the use of time and advance interpersonal management skills.
